Shiri Gershuni, CPA
Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of organizations and individuals, helping them make sense of complex financial information and approach decisions with more clarity and confidence.
I completed the legacy CPA, CGA program in 2016 and hold a Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Camosun College and a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from the University of Pretoria. My background has shaped a practical, thoughtful approach to my work; one that balances technical accuracy with clear communication and an understanding of the people behind the numbers.
Much of my career has been spent in public practice, where I advised clients on accounting and tax matters, reviewed compilation engagements, and mentored professionals at different stages of their careers. I have also worked in industry and government roles focused on audit, financial oversight, and improving systems and processes. These experiences have given me a broad perspective and a strong appreciation for well-organized, efficient financial operations.
I enjoy bringing structure to complexity and finding better, smarter ways of working. I’m known for being detail-oriented, collaborative, and dependable, and I take pride in building long-term, trusted relationships grounded in transparency and good judgment.
Grant K. Gullekson, CPA
I am a seasoned professional in the accounting industry. With over a decade of experience as a public accountant, controller, and bookkeeper. I have gained valuable insights into what it takes to stay organized in a fast-paced world. I have made it my passion to embrace technology and find solutions to "too much paper" problems.
I completed the CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) training program and articling hours with Hayes Stewart Little & Co. in Victoria, British Columbia, which later merged with Grant Thornton Victoria. I also hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Accounting from Camosun College.
My career started in sales at Metro Lexus Toyota, where I worked as a Sales Advisor for a year before transitioning into the accounting field. I have since held positions as an Accounting Technician at Accutax Accountants for four years, a Staff Accountant at Hayes Stewart Little & Company for almost three years, and a Monthend Accountant at Audi Autohaus Victoria (GAIN Dealergroup).
In my most recent roles, I have served as a Financial Controller at YMCA-YWCA of Vancouver Island for three and a half years and worked as a Senior Financial Advisor on a 6 month auxiliary contract with the Capital Regional District. My dedication to my profession has helped me develop a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset that I bring to each project.
